About Myu

Japanese Teacher · Writer · Editor
Myu, Japanese teacher, writer and editor

Hi, I'm Myu.

For 20 years, I worked as an editor-in-chief in Japanese baseball and sports media, listening to people's experiences and turning their thoughts into words.

For more than 10 years, I have also run a writing and self-expression school.

Today, I bring these experiences into Japanese teaching — helping learners find the Japanese to express what they really want to say.

Good words don't begin with perfection.

They begin with something you really want to say.

Books & Publications

Over the years, I have authored and co-authored more than 15 books, including books about writing, children's education, sports, and nonfiction.

My work as a writer and editor continues to shape the way I teach — by listening carefully, asking questions, and helping people find the words they want to express.
